About The Typewriter: Student Literary Magazine

The Typewriter is an online literary magazine founded by high school sophomore Ursula Koestner. An avid reader and writer, Koestner dedicated herself to showcasing the creative works of student writers through an online platform. We provide a safe space for aspiring writers to share their prose, poetry, and various forms of creative writing. Our favorite aesthetic is fantastical, poetic darkness; think abandoned libraries full of worn books, deep forests with more behind them than age-old oaks, ancient stone castles overlooking dangerous seaside cliffs; mysterious, quiet wilderness wrapped in a deliciously dim light.
