Issue II: Underwater Listening (March/April Issue)

The Typewriter’s first issue (New Beginnings) is officially closed for submissions!

However, our second issue is now live with a theme of Underwater Listening! We want to capture how it feels to be under the waves, utter submersion; a world completely separate from ours (literally or metaphorically, if you decide). There is so much we don’t know about the ocean, the possibilities truly are endless.

Imagine hidden underwater shipwrecks, newborn orca calves’ first breaths, mermaids lounging about underwater caves shot through with beams of sunlight. Feeling nothing but a swell rock your body, hearing nothing but the whale’s bellow, see nothing but blue, blue, blue. Crystal clear, cerulean, navy, and blackish.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
